New Practice Organization members-only listserv launches
The Practice Organization has launched a new members-only listserv as a benefit for members of the Practice Organization. The listserv is a designated space where Practice Organization members can talk candidly about business of practice issues, including financial and pocket-book issues of interest to practitioners. These are topics that cannot be discussed on APA division listservs due to APA’s tax status as a charitable organization.
This listserv also provides a forum through which Practice Organization members can communicate and engage with the Committee for the Advancement of Professional Practice (CAPP), the Practice Organization governance group.
“I am excited about the opportunity this forum provides us to discuss many topics related to practicing psychology,” says CAPP Chair Kathleen S. Brown, PhD. “We’re looking forward to tapping into members’ knowledge and real-life experiences navigating the health care environment, and to hearing from them what they value and need from the Practice Organization.”
All APA Practice Organization members with valid email addresses were automatically added to the new listserv. You can manage your subscription settings via the listserv server’s Web interface.
To unsubscribe from the listserv, send a message to the owner of the list via email and ask that you be "unsubscribed" from the Practice Organization listserv list.
In addition, you may unsubscribe from this listserv list by sending a message via email. In the body of the message with nothing in the subject area you should put “Unsubscribe PRACTICEORGANIZATION.” Please remember to remove any signature or additional text in the message.
The new APA Practice Organization listserv will only be available to APA Practice Organization members who have paid the Practice Organization dues for the current year.
Please note: The list will be announcement-only at first to allow members who wish to do so time to unsubscribe.
